I am waiting with great anticipation for our first cohort of mathematics teachers that are coming for a two part residential course to improve their leadership skills. They are coming from all over the country and with a great variety of experience of both teaching and leadership. A think tank report reveals that there is a 40,000 per year shortage of home-grown graduates in STEM.
