Interactive Teaching Programs
This set of Interactive Teaching Programs (ITPs), developed by the National Numeracy Strategy, were originally intended for use in daily numeracy lessons to develop key mathematical concepts in the primary phase. However they can be used equally well with students in Key Stage Three for demonstration and exploration.
Each ITP also has teacher guidance on suggested use. Teachers will need to have an interactive whiteboard or data projector.
HEALTH and SAFETY
Any use of a resource that includes a practical activity must include a risk assessment. Please note that collections may contain ARCHIVE resources, which were developed at a much earlier date. Since that time there have been significant changes in the rules and guidance affecting laboratory practical work. Further information is provided in our Health and Safety guidance.
