Experienced teachers, working for the CIEC, have created over 100 teaching and learning resources and a suite of interactive and informative websites for use by teachers and students. They show how science works in real-life contexts and demonstrate how the chemical industry is relevant to society.

Resources cover all age ranges and help to:

• enhance the effective teaching of science and technology
• create enthusiasm in school students and children for science and technology
• generate an improved level of understanding between schools and science-based industries
• create a better understanding of the nature and role of science-based industries within society

HEALTH and SAFETY
Any use of a resource that includes a practical activity must include a risk assessment. Please note that collections may contain ARCHIVE resources, which were developed at a much earlier date. Since that time there have been significant changes in the rules and guidance affecting laboratory practical work. Further information is provided in our Health and Safety guidance.
