The NRICH Project aims to enrich the mathematical experiences of all learners with a variety of different materials including problems, articles and games, for teachers and learners from ages 5 to 19 years. All the problems have teachers' notes, hints and solutions.

NRICH is a team of qualified teachers who are also practitioners in rich mathematical thinking. They aim to enrich the experience of the mathematics curriculum for all learners by offering challenging and engaging activities which develop mathematical thinking and problem-solving skills and show rich mathematics in meaningful contexts. They work in partnership with teachers, schools and other educational settings.

The activities are collated into Key Stage groups but can be used as appropriate, there are different levels of difficulty within the problems, games and investigations.

I use the nrich site a lot and find it great for interesting session starters. I love doing the mathematical sudokus on the site myself and give them to learners for enrichment work.
