Rearranging Equations
From the LSIS, these materials cover two sessions designed to take students through the basic principles of manipulating and solving equations. The learners work through building an equation, checking the equation and solving the equation. They are then asked to create their own equation and swap it with a partner to be ‘undone’ step by step. Finally, students move to an activity which uses cards to further reinforce how equations are rearranged.
HEALTH and SAFETY
Any use of a resource that includes a practical activity must include a risk assessment.
Please note that collections may contain ARCHIVE resources, which were developed at a much earlier date.
Since that time there have been significant changes in the rules and guidance affecting laboratory practical work.
Further information is provided in our Health and Safety guidance.
