Temperature
This maths problem from NRICH allows the student to explore the relationships within the temperature scales.
As well as developing a better understanding of temperature, this problem presents a number of ways in which it can be solved (trial and improvement, graphically, algebraically) so can offer a useful opportunity for discussing the merits of different strategies.
