Rainforest with Symbols
The rainforest interactive resource is provided by ASE and it includes images and information that is presented in text and symbol supported versions. The other resources provide ideas and examples on how you could be using symbols in your teaching to clarify meaning and understanding.
The rainforest website can be used to review work on ecological relationships and environmental issues, or as a starting point for further research. It relates to citizenship and global issues in science.
HEALTH and SAFETY
Any use of a resource that includes a practical activity must include a risk assessment.
Please note that collections may contain ARCHIVE resources, which were developed at a much earlier date.
Since that time there have been significant changes in the rules and guidance affecting laboratory practical work.
Further information is provided in our Health and Safety guidance.
