STEM Baseline Survey - Summary Report
From the Department for Education, this report provides a summary of findings from the STEM Baseline Survey Research Programme. It reports on a programme of activities aimed at improving STEM careers awareness in secondary schools.
The primary purpose of the research dimension of the project is to measure the potential impact of activities and resources, such as the development of a STEM curriculum-related careers resource, CPD for teachers and trainee teachers,support resources for Information, Advice and Guidance (AIG) professionals, an economic well-being resource and resources to support work placements, mentors and role models.

Any use of a resource that includes a practical activity must include a risk assessment.
Please note that collections may contain ARCHIVE resources, which were developed at a much earlier date.
Since that time there have been significant changes in the rules and guidance affecting laboratory practical work.
