Chemistry Laboratory Investigations Stage III

This resource was designed to help students aged 15-16 to build up their notes while working through selected options in Stage III of the Nuffield Chemistry Sample Scheme. The plan was that students would record their work on blank sheets inserted to face each printed page. In this way the authors hoped that students would build up their own textbook. In the first edition of the publications there were no textbooks for students. The only student materials were these investigation sheets and the Background Books.

There are very few illustrations on the sheets and no health and safety warnings. There is no guidance for teachers in this resource and no answers to the questions. All the guidance was provided in the Chemistry the Sample Scheme Stage III: A Course of Options.
