Nuffield Co-ordinated Sciences: Biology Worksheets

Most of the Nuffield Co-ordinated Sciences Biology Worksheets were the same in both editions of the course. Extra worksheets were published in an Upgrade Pack for the second edition. There is a full list of all the biology worksheets at the start of the biology section of the upgrade file.

As well as worksheets to give instructions and guidance on carrying out practical work, there were some giving descriptions of experiments performed by other people and providing data collected by others. Here the emphasis was usually on the interpretation and analysis of the data provided.

The worksheet file and upgrade pack included between one and ten worksheets for each of the 23 chapters in the Biology students’ textbook for the course. There were also four exercises to encourage reading for learning. Technical and teaching guidance for each worksheets was provided in the biology section of the Teachers’ Guide.
