Mathematics Reader
The Nuffield Advanced Mathematics reader provided articles as background or extensions to topics covered elsewhere in the course. The aim was to encourage students to make further study of the development and applications of the ideas about which they were learning. This was one of the ways by which the course team illustrated how mathematical concepts new to the students had been used by to solve real-world problems.
