Colds and Flu: Sheer Poetry
In this Planet Science resource, students are given a collection of limericks which contain some facts about colds and flu. Each limerick has a question attached to it which students have to answer. This could be used to assess how much students have learned about viruses or as a research exercise using the answer grid given. Finally students have to come up with their own limerick on the causes of colds and flu.
HEALTH and SAFETY
Any use of a resource that includes a practical activity must include a risk assessment.
Please note that collections may contain ARCHIVE resources, which were developed at a much earlier date.
Since that time there have been significant changes in the rules and guidance affecting laboratory practical work.
Further information is provided in our Health and Safety guidance.
