Best Practice in Dental Nursing Through KTT
Produced by the Learning and Skills Improvement Service (LSIS), this case study looks at the themes of knowledge and technology transfer (KTT) and employer engagement. It focuses on building upon Sheffield City College's knowledge and technology transfer practices to improve the delivery of the dental nursing apprenticeship.
The project allows learners access to the latest practices and techniques in the field of dentistry. This improves learner readiness for working in the sector and ensures better completion rates for the framework. This has been achieved by working with teaching staff, attendance at partnership and employer meetings and the integration of assessments within the college.
