Higher Futures
Produced by the Learning and Skills Improvement Service (LSIS), this case study looks at the themes of progression in STEM and employer engagement.
Written by Rotherham College of Arts and Technology, it describes how colleges and universities from South Yorkshire and North Nottinghamshire have formed a collaborative group known as The Higher Futures Lifelong Learning Network (LLN). This case study is an example of their work. It shows how bringing together employers and other agencies to work with the group enabled the identification of a progression route for apprentices into appropriate and relevant higher education courses.
