Key Skills
The Key Skills qualifications from QCA are designed to enable learners to progress at their own pace.
They build on the adult numeracy standards, which provide further detail of the skills needed to achieve the application of number key skill at levels one and two. Each level of the key skills above level one incorporates and builds on the previous ones.
The resources in this collection describe the techniques and knowledge associated with each key skill, what needs to be learned and the evidence required for assessment.
HEALTH and SAFETY
Any use of a resource that includes a practical activity must include a risk assessment.
Please note that collections may contain ARCHIVE resources, which were developed at a much earlier date.
Since that time there have been significant changes in the rules and guidance affecting laboratory practical work.
Further information is provided in our Health and Safety guidance.
