The Ginn Science story book The Rainy Day was written for students in Year Two (Primary Three) aged six to seven and published in 1988. It relates to the content strand ‘Materials and their uses’ and is intended for students to read independently. It tells the story of a family visiting a park and caught in a sudden rainstorm and how some kept dry and others became wet when they dashed home.
