Earthquakes and Volcanoes
This main unit in the Ideas and Evidence pack from the Pupil Researcher Initiative is about how difficult it can be to make predictions. Scientists can predict some things quite accurately, but in other cases it is much more difficult to make a prediction. A good example of this is trying to predict exactly when an earthquake or a volcanic eruption will occur.

Since that time there have been significant changes in the rules and guidance affecting laboratory practical work.
Further information is provided in our Health and Safety guidance.
