Produced by Nowgen, and with support from the Wellcome Trust, the Changing Futures project explored the effects of cystic fibrosis (CF) and the prospects of treatment using gene therapy. These two videos give personal perspectives on gene therapy from two cystic fibrosis sufferers.

Natasha is at college. She talks about how she overcomes the obstacles that CF places in her way. She describes how gene therapy is held as a possible cure but that development to a viable treatment may still be some time away.

Hannah is 15 years old and describes how she enjoys media studies and computers. She talks about her aspirations for the future and how gene therapy may help her to achieve her goals. She shares her hopes and concerns over the development of gene therapy to an available treatment.
