Who Wants to Be a Scientist?
From the Association for Science Education (ASE), Who wants to be a scientist? is based on a well-known quiz format. It is a PowerPoint presentation, and works well in class or as a lunchtime competition using overheads. The quiz could be run during lunch times as an inter-form competition, or within class time. After teachers have saved the PowerPoint quiz to their computer they can customise the questions as they wish. Each team will need their three lifeline cards to use once in the game. The game runs for about 20-30 minutes with four teams.

HEALTH and SAFETY
Any use of a resource that includes a practical activity must include a risk assessment. Please note that collections may contain ARCHIVE resources, which were developed at a much earlier date. Since that time there have been significant changes in the rules and guidance affecting laboratory practical work. Further information is provided in our Health and Safety guidance.
