Study Plan, Notes and Exercises
MEI provides this introduction to complex numbers for OCR FP1. Detailed notes covering the number system, adding subtracting and multiplying complex numbers, complex conjugates, equations with complex roots, equating real and imaginary parts and crucial points to learn are included, together with a thorough study plan.
Also available are additional exercises for students to complete with worked answers, as well as a multiple choice test and a topic assessment test, including solutions.

Commentary:
Theses resources for FP1 are part of a much bigger set for all the A-level modules (you will need to be registered with the Further Maths Support Programme http://www.fmnetwork.org.uk/ to access these).
There are several types of resource available:
1) Notes and Examples – I've used these for pupils to get some extra reading, to catch up if they have missed a few lessons or to teach themselves an extra module. I have also used them as an alternative to a textbook.
2) Additional exercises – Exercises on each topic provided with full model answers, great to give as worksheets in class or for homework as pupils can then use the model answers to self assess their work and improve their presentation.
3) Multiple choice tests – I use these in class with pupils providing answers on mini white-boards, they might be older, but they still love using mini white-boards!
