Produced by Becta, these case studies illustrate how information communication technology (ICT) can be used to enhance teaching and learning in science.

This case study looks at the use of interactive whiteboards (IWB) in two primary schools. It illustrates how IWB can enhance the learning experience, even when teachers employ teaching methods and activities which could be described as 'traditional'.

HEALTH and SAFETY
Any use of a resource that includes a practical activity must include a risk assessment. Please note that collections may contain ARCHIVE resources, which were developed at a much earlier date. Since that time there have been significant changes in the rules and guidance affecting laboratory practical work. Further information is provided in our Health and Safety guidance.
