Produced by the Science Museum, this video looks at the topics of gender, reproduction and the implications of in vitro fertilisation from an unusual point of view. It is designed to generate discussion and debate into the applications and implications of science.

Should men be allowed to have babies?

The main character is a man who is pregnant with his, and his wife's baby. They have made this choice so that the wife can develop her career. The video throws up many questions.

Use this film as a stimulus to explore the social, medical and ethical implications of male pregnancy in a classroom discussion. Would this be a leap forward for equality or a step too far for science?

Hello,

Please note MP4/M4V are the only video formats compatible with the eLibrary CMS and unfortunately, I only have the file available as M4V.

Regards,

Anna
