Regulations for F1 Challenge
This PDF file from F1 in schools covers the Rules & Regulations 2010/11 Championship Season. The rationale behind the challenge, how to get started, the materials and processes required are thoroughly described. Schools will need to acquaint themselves fully with these regulations if they wish to participate in the challenge with a compliant car.
Details of various awards, including CREST (CREativity in Science and Technology) which is the nationwide award scheme for project work in Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths (STEM), are also included.
Further information regarding the challenge can be found on the challenge website.
HEALTH and SAFETY
Any use of a resource that includes a practical activity must include a risk assessment.
Please note that collections may contain ARCHIVE resources, which were developed at a much earlier date.
Since that time there have been significant changes in the rules and guidance affecting laboratory practical work.
Further information is provided in our Health and Safety guidance.
