Weather
Ginn Science level three students’ book Weather was written for students aged seven to eight years and published in 1989. It contains 24 pages and related to the content strand ‘Earth and space’. Using full-colour illustrations, it begins by discussing different kinds of weather and distinguishes weather from climate. Weather forecasting is discussed and what can be inferred from cloud formations. It illustrates the Beaufort scale for describing wind strength.
