ACME Conference 2011: Mathematics 5-19: Completing the square: Concepts and contexts, pedagogy and politics
England (London)
15.03.2011
9.30am - 4.30pm
This conference will bring together teachers, policymakers and other stakeholders to consider the next big issues in mathematics education in England. With a recent change of government and the start of a new process to revise the National Curriculum, now more than ever, is the time for you to contribute to ACME's thinking and inform the advice given to the Department for Education on a range of mathematics issues. From supporting specialist teachers to securing seamless transitions between Key Stages, the conference is an excellent opportunity to hear from high-level speakers and to debate and discuss the latest developments.
The conference is free to attend. Additional funding to reimburse travel expenses and supply cover is available for teachers and practitioners working within schools.
