Attend creative workshops, practical demonstrations and access resources to help develop science curriculum knowledge and leadership skills. Please see the full programme here. Workshops will include:
•2012: Using the Olympics to inspire learning using Wellcome Trust’s Olympic packs
•Key stage 4 science - the future
•It's not fair or is it? Transforming science enquiry in primary classrooms
•How teaching literacy in science can maximise success in the new science GCSE's
•Health and safety one-day course for science technicians
We have an exhibition from several publishers and suppliers who will be showcasing their products and on hand to discuss how they can be used in school. Lunch is included, kindly sponsored by SLC East of England and this will be a good time to meet colleagues old and new from across the area.
