Chilled Food Association’s Summer School in Food Sciences 2012
England (East Midlands)
04.07.2012 - 06.07.2012
The 2012 Summer School in Food Sciences is to be held between July 4th and July 6th and is for Year 11 pupils who are interested in the applications of science in a practical context. It has been created to help pupils find out more about Food Science related degrees and the food industry. We are interested in attracting bright and enthusiastic students who are on target to achieve A*, A or B in their science GCSE subjects. The 2012 Summer School in Food Sciences is free of charge, residential and will give pupils the opportunity to experience living and learning on campus. The students will participate in interactive learning activities, attend the Lord Haskins’ endowed lecture, and visit a local food manufacturer. Places on the summer School are limited and successful candidates will be selected based on their application form.
