This event has been organised to disseminate the learning and success of three projects funded by the Royal Academy of Engineering:

1. Researching the effectiveness of Activity-Led learning as a pedagogy for engagement with professional development in engineering (Presented by Sarah Wilson-Medhurst)
2. Development of engineering project management simulations in a virtual world to enhance students' engineering project management and employability skills (Presented by Liz Miles)
3. Using part-time students as mentors (Presented by John Davies)

The aims of the day are to present and explain the basis of the projects; their implementation and evaluation; and to engage participants in thinking about the implications of the projects' findings for their own practice.
