Dr John Oversby will be leading the Café ASE talk, 'Does Levelling Prevent Progress in Science?' on Thursday 14 April 2011 at 6.45pm at Waterstones Bookshop (2nd Floor), Gower Street, London WC1E 6EQ. Admission is free; you don't need tickets, just turn up.

Café ASE is an informal new discussion event that aims to provide science teachers, technicians and educators with a forum to express their views on science education. Based on the Café Scientifique model, the meetings start with a short presentation from an influential teacher or policy maker and then open up into a discussion, with questions and comments from the audience.
