'Double Helix' - an exciting event of music, science and dance from Science on Stage
England (East Midlands)
14.05.2011
7.00pm - 9.15pm
Venue: The Royal Concert Hall, Nottingham
With over three hundred performers from around Nottinghamshire the newly created work ‘Double Helix’ will explore the scientific and moral issues created by the recent developments in genetic engineering.
As well as the music and dance, the evening will be supported by an interval, packed with displays of artwork, literature and of course scientific demonstrations. Younger performers will work alongside professional musicians and choreographers to create a spectacular evening of light, movement and sound, all deepening our understanding of science.
