The National STEM Centre will have open days during the summer term on the following days:
• Thursday 7 June 2012, 10.45am – 12.30pm with buffet lunch 12.30pm – 1.30pm
• Tuesday 3 July 2012, 10.45am – 12.30pm with buffet lunch 12.30pm – 1.30pm

You will have the chance to meet the Centre staff and explore our resource collections and facilities.

Open Day Schedule:
10.45 - 11.00 - Registration with tea and coffee

11.00 - 11.40 - Introducing the National STEM Centre and STEM Programme support. Find out about key STEM organisations, including the Science Learning Centres, STEMNET, the National Centre for Excellence in the Teaching of Mathematics (NCETM) and the UK space education office (ESERO).

11.40 - 12.10 - Explore the National STEM Centre, discover the eLibrary and meet the team. Discover the resources held in the library and the online materials available on the eLibrary, as well as the resources from ESERO-UK (the UK Space Education Office).

12.10 - 12.30 - Tour of the building. Learn more about continuing professional development opportunities at the National Science Learning Centre, which is co-located with the National STEM Centre.

12.30 - 1.30 - Buffet lunch. Opportunity to explore the National STEM Centre and eLibrary.
