A free CPD day for 11-19 teachers, jointly organised by ASE (Lakeland and NW regions), IoP, RSC and the SB (in conjunction with the annual SB quiz for sixth forms), will be held on Wednesday 29th June, again at UCLan in Preston. The context for workshops and talks next year will be GCSE Triple Science. There will be a programme of three workshops in each of the physics, chemistry and biology subject areas followed by a talk on various aspects of the Triple Science curriculum model given by Dawn Jones, Assistant Director of the NW SLC.
