NRICH Primary Mathematics Leaders Day 2012

The aim of the day is to support MaST (Mathematics Specialist Teachers programme) teachers and Mathematics Leaders in nurturing confident, resourceful and enthusiastic teachers and learners of mathematics in their schools.
The day is a mix of plenary speaker sessions, group discussion and workshops. The day will be highly interactive and will respond to the issues and concerns identified by delegates.

- come away with strategies to support you in developing mathematical classrooms of enquiry and challenge.
Speakers
Lynne McClure, Jenni Back, Jennie Pennant and Bernard Bagnall, from the NRICH Primary Team at the University of Cambridge. The team are primary mathematics and leadership specialists who are committed to enriching the experience of the mathematics curriculum for all learners. Detailed biographies and photographs of each speaker can be found here. Tony Gardner from the London Mathematical Society will also be present on the day.
During the day there will also be an opportunity to hear about the history of the LMS and the personal stories of some of the eminent mathematicians who are honoured there.

Cost and registration
Free places are available to MaST teachers and Mathematics Subject Leaders in maintained primary schools. There is one free place available per institution.
