Producing effective business engagement plans
England (London)
04.05.2011
The focus of this workshop is on the analysis of strategic priorities for business engagement and the production of action plans which encourage and support people to put these plans into practice. The workshop begins by exploring how best to structure a business engagement plan, ensuring that it has a commercial focus and is also easy to understand and use for those who are tasked with delivering it. The planning process aims to achieve a realistic balance between institutional targets, aspirations, priorities and the capacity to meet these.
The second section of the workshop has a detailed emphasis on techniques for action planning for business engagement activity in a unit or department. We recognise how hard it can be to make this activity happen in a university alongside other commitments and describe and practise a proven process for ensuring things get done and deadlines and targets are achieved.
Venue: Royal Academy of Engineering, London.
