This workshop is designed to explore and address specific issues and challenges that occur when assuring the quality of work-based learning. In this workshop participants will work together to examine how working with employers to design, deliver and assess learning can highlight particular areas of challenge within current university QA systems. Our approach will consider implications for quality assurance for teaching and learning that ranges from work-related campus based provision to learning in the workplace where the employer is involved in both delivery and assessment judgements.
