STEM TeachMeet - SE & London
England (South East), England (London)
22.06.2011
4.30pm - 7.00pm
A STEM TeachMeet is a chance for education professionals to hear ideas from each other and hear real narratives of practice that make a difference. The events are also all about being inspired by your immediate colleagues and network with them.
The main part of any TeachMeet is hearing stories from teachers and other education professionals about what really works in practice. As such you have the option to do any of the following:
- Give a micro presentation - 7 minutes to talk about what you are doing to inspire students in STEM
- Give a nano presentation - 2 minutes to highlight one great STEM activity
- Simply be an audience participant - come along, ask a few questions and soak up some inspiration
TeachMeets are hosted by The STEM Clubs network, an affiliation network which allows all secondary schools in the country to be able to access the very latest in best practice information, professional advice, shared resources, key contacts and personal support.
Venue: Dana Centre, London.
