A great FREE day for young people to explore and celebrate the excitement and potential of science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM). This year Big Bang London returns to the Westminster Kingsway College where, in 2010, over 1,800 visitors enjoyed a vast range of hands-on activities from the likes of IBM, the Science Museum and BP.

2012 promises to be an even more exciting event that will encourage students to be creative about STEM. They can examine a crime scene for forensic evidence, present the weather or fly like Superman with ‘green screen’ technology. Visitors will find out how to cook like Heston Blumenthal using the secrets of food chemistry and explore the science in sport in this great Olympics year.
