You are invited to attend an inspiring day of workshops with opportunities to discuss mathematics education with a broad range of colleagues.

With key note speaker Malcolm Swan. Professor of Mathematics Education at the University of Nottingham and author of the Standards Units and Shell materials

Your choice of workshops includes:

• rich activities for assessment
• embedding mathematics across the curriculum
• looking at options for the new proposals for GCSE
• using teaching assistants effectively
• teaching mathematics to EAL students
• teaching mathematics by using Space as a context
• using new technologies to engage students

Cost: £125 to include lunch, refreshments and inspiring resources. Early bird booking offer for £99 if you apply by Thursday 17 May 2012.
