'Digital technologies: a new beginning'. An NCETM report into the use of ICT in mathematics

The National Centre for Excellence in the Teaching of Mathematics (NCETM) has published a report into the use of digital technologies in mathematics classrooms. The report looks at current ICT practice, barriers to implementation and explores potential new beginnings for ICT. Pointing the way to many excellent resources, the report also goes on to make eight recommendations for the NCETM with regard to the use of digital technologies. Some of these recommendations have already been carried out, others will be seen over the next year as a new microsite is published and developed by NCETM. The microsite will include a self-evaluation matrix for the use of ICT in the primary and secondary phases, developed by the NCETM in collaboration with BECTA.
