Driving success through STEM

Working in partnership with Business in the Community, STEMNET, the network of Science Learning Centres, and the NCETM, the National STEM Centre has linked up with major STEM employers for a series of exclusive events in each region of England. STEM is a major employment growth area in the UK for both graduates and non-graduates. Regardless of their career pathways, young people with STEM qualifications are highly valued by employers. The events explore how STEM subjects can raise students’ attainment and discuss priorities for STEM education. They also provide the opportunity to engage with STEM support organisations and strengthen links with a major business partner in your area.

Events coming up:

  • West Midlands: 24 March 2011, with Jaguar Land Rover, Castle Bromwich
  • East of England: 31 March 2011, with Microsoft Research, Cambridge
  • North East: 16 May 2011, with Johnson Matthey Catalysts, Billingham
