Education and Employers Taskforce inaugural research conference – Friday 15 October

This inaugural research conference, ‘The Point of Partnership Understanding Employer Engagement in Education’, will take place at the University of Warwick and will bring together leading researchers, policy-makers and practitioners to address the wide range of questions, activities and perspectives related to employer engagement in education.

The conference will feature a range of top speakers including Prof Hugh Lauder, editor of the Journal of Education and Work (Keynote speaker), Prof Louise Archer, King’s College London, Marthe Gieben, BIBB (Federal Institute for Vocational Education and Training, Germany) and many more besides. Who will be address key conference questions such as ‘What happens when employers work with schools and colleges?’, ‘How can relationships be most efficiently and effectively managed?’ and ‘Why do young people enjoy and value educational experiences that engage employers?’ and further questions along the same themes.
