International STEM in Education Conference

26 & 27 November 2010 - Queensland University of Technology, Brisbane, Australia

The School of Mathematics, Science and Technology Education invites you to participate and network at the inaugural international conference of Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) in Education at QUT on 26th and 27th November 2010.

The purpose of the STEM in Education Conference is to create opportunities for:

  • information and knowledge sharing through paper/poster presentations, symposia, workshops, and innovative showcases
  • modelling effective pedagogical practices while enhancing content knowledge
  • sharing research initiatives and outcomes
  • professional development for educators in a range of educational contexts
  • networking between participants

The conference is appropriate for academics, researchers, teachers, education officers, industry partners, postgraduate and undergraduate students. The maximum capacity for the conference is 400 participants.
