Leaders of Learning in Mathematics Conference on the 4th July 2011

Are you a Leader of Learning in Mathematics?

As a Subject or Senior Leader, Key Stage Leader, Lead Teacher or AST you are invited to attend an inspiring day of workshops with opportunities to discuss mathematics education with a broad range of colleagues.

Our Key Note speakers are Jane Jones, HMI National Advisor for Mathematics, and Rob Eastaway, well known author and broadcaster.

Your choice of workshops includes:

  • formative assessment
  • developing mathematical independence
  • building problem solving skills from KS2 into KS3
  • supporting students working at lower levels
  • teaching ‘A’ level in practical ways
  • using new technologies and social media to engage students

The cost for attending the conference is £85 - this price includes lunch, refreshments and inspiring teaching resources to take away.

Coffee, registration and exhibitions start at 9am. Key Note speech starts at 9.45am.
