NAAIDT Annual Conference 2010: Integrating Hearts, Heads and Hands

This year's conference for the National Association of Advisers & Inspectors in Design and Technology (NAAIDT) will be held in York from 15 - 17 April.

Details of the extensive programme and information on registering for the conference are available to download below. Highlights include:

The first day of the conference will be held at the York Marriott Hotel, which is easily accessible by car or alternatively is a short taxi ride from York railway station.

With a view overlooking the racecourse, the hotel's leisure facilities include an indoor swimming pool, sauna, whirlpool, air conditioned gym and a beauty spa. All rooms are en suite and WiFi access is available.

The conference will be opened by Dave Rowley, Education Director of the BLOODHOUND SCC Engineering Adventure .

On Thursday evening there will be a tour of the National Railway Museum, followed by an atmospheric dinner in the Station Hall where we will dine amidst luxurious carriages and historic locomotives.

Friday's programme is hosted by the National STEM Centre, which provides a fitting backdrop to the theme of the conference. At the heart of the Centre is a purpose built resource centre housing an extensive collection of STEM education support materials. The collections range across science, design and technology, engineering and mathematics for the 5-19 age group.

On Friday evening our Annual Conference Dinner will be held at the Marriott Hotel, and this year will take a Yorkshire theme. Saturday's programme will also be based in the hotel.
