National Curriculum Review - Call for Evidence

Computers

On 20 January, the Secretary of State for Education announced Government plans to carry out a review of the National Curriculum for 5-16 year olds in England. At the same time, an Advisory Committee was announced to guide the review, as well as an Expert Panel to bring together the evidence base. A call for evidence was launched on the same day to inform the review, the deadline for this submission of evidence to the Department for Education is Thursday 14 April.

In advance of this, STEM Advisory Forum has launched an online forum focussing on the discussion of STEM subjects in relation to the Curriculum Review, with topics organised to match the sections of the Call for Evidence questionnaire. The discussion will run until Friday 25 March, when it will be taken down, summarised and send to the Department for Education.
