NCETM launches 'Accessing Research' microsite

NCETM has launched a new 'Accessing Research' microsite which provides ten study modules related to research around the most effective way to teach mathematics. Each study module is based on a particular research paper and is written to support teachers in thinking about the ideas and findings it contains, reflecting on their own views and practice and considering implications for their developing practice.

Teachers are encouraged to work on these modules either individually or in small groups, and to record their thoughts and ideas in a personal learning space or contributing to discussion threads on the NCETM portal.

The new microsite is designed to enable practising teachers to:

  • get access to an established body of research
  • know where to start in analysing / digesting it
  • be supported in making sense of it.

You can access the microsite through the NCETM website.
