New Café ASE event takes place in London this Thursday

Café ASE is an informal new monthly event that aims to provide science teachers with a forum to express their views on science education. Based on the Café Scientifique model, the meetings will start with a short presentation from an influential teacher or policy maker and then open up into a discussion, with questions and comments from the audience.

Prof Paul Black, KCL, will be doing the first talk, ‘How Should We Assess Science in Schools?’ on Thursday 10 February 2011 at 6.45pm at Waterstones Bookshop (2nd Floor), Gower Street, London WC1E 6EQ. Admission is free; you don’t need tickets, just turn up. For more information, contact anthonyhardwicke@ase.org.uk.
