New ‘Hidden Science Map’ from Future Morph

Future Morph has created the Hidden Science Map to show how much science goes on all around us.

Future Morph has been asking science, technology, engineering and maths people, and organisations to compete a profile which is then uploaded onto an interactive, searchable map showcasing what sort of STEM activities and professions exist across the UK.

The idea behind the project is to enable school students, parents, and anyone who’s curious about science and its applications to be able to see that ‘science’ goes on all over the place, and to highlight the diversity of STEM jobs available.

The project is currently in a pilot phase for the next six months to see whether such an application is useful and popular both with STEM professionals and the map’s wider users.
