Opportunity to become a Royal Society Associate School or College

Do you want to share your experience and enthusiasm for teaching with the Royal Society? The Royal Society is currently recruiting schools from all over the UK to join their new Associate Schools and Colleges scheme.

The scheme is a network of enthusiastic teachers who wish to share their experience and work in order to help promote excellence in science and mathematics teaching. It allows schools to benefit from closer links with the Royal Society, which include access to their resources and expertise, and will provide you with an opportunity to contribute to their work in education policy, outreach and research.

For more information on the scheme and how to apply, visit the Royal Society website or contact them at associateschools@royalsociety.org.

The scheme has a limited number of places - the application deadline is Monday 11 July 2011.
