STEM Zone at ASE 2011

The National STEM Centre, STEM Advisory Forum and STEMNET have come together to create a shared STEM Zone stand at the Association of Science Education (ASE) annual conference 2011. Held this year at the University of Reading from 5-8 January 2011, the ASE conference is one of the leading science education CPD events in the world, involving inspiring workshops, talks, seminars and courses as well as Europe’s largest science education exhibition.

To discover more about the national programme of support for STEM education (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics), visit the STEM Zone stand C49 to uncover a wealth of ideas for enhancing and enriching your STEM curriculum and how to access freely available STEM teaching and learning resources.

The STEM Zone is dedicated to providing you with information to help take forward science, technology, engineering and mathematics in your school and college.

  • Need help enhancing and enriching your STEM curriculum?
  • Want to share your views on STEM education with government?

There will also be wine and nibbles from 3.30pm – 5.30pm on Thursday 6 January and Friday 7 January, so come along and tell us what you need to make STEM a reality in your school or college.

The National STEM Centre is also running a series of courses focused on enhancing the teaching and learning of STEM subjects:
